You may be wondering why the title of this is “Warm Caramel & Cinnamon Time.” Well folks, what do these remind you of? When you think of these scents and colors, what comes to mind? Yep, Fall. There are so many reasons to fall in love with Fall. From the Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks to that burnt orange/yellow (that is used a little too much, but we know in the end we love it), to the new Bath and BodyWorks scents that come out every year, I could go on and on. I’m sure many of us can agree that Fall is one of the happy seasons that we can’t get enough of. It seems to be the season that everyone gets started on early. I am 100% okay with this because I am one of those people!
Yes, yes, we all know Summer is still in full swing, but Fall is right around the corner. How soon can we incorporate it into our Stages and own homes? Adding small touches of Fall to your Stages is doable, just keep them subtle. With a few extra touches, you can set a different mood that inspires family and gathering together without being super dramatic.

Y’all already know I am a big fan of rattan. It is the perfect vintage/boho/earthy material and can be paired with just about anything. Buy these next level accents brand new while they are currently in style, or visit a couple of vintage shops to locate a few truly unique pieces. Don’t be afraid to do a little reupholstering or painting for the right piece.
Textures & Layers
I know that hearing the word “layers” at this time might make you sweat just thinking about it, but trust me, they do so much for a home. Layered rugs & throws in various textures are your friends. Model My Home played around with the layered rug trend in the “Room of the Month” room, and let me just say, it changed the feel of the room altogether. This may take some of you out of your comfort zone, but you will find that there are many ways to layer. Pillow covers are affordable, easy, and fun! Add a chunky throw, some fun pillows, the layered rugs and you will experience a whole new level of Fall.

Don’t you just love watching the leaves fall from the trees? Can’t you feel the cool air that’s coming? Warm toned Leaves are the perfect touch to any vase or centerpiece. This is the time to be creative. Those items you haven’t staged with or decorated your home with in a while that may seem outdated would love a quick makeover. A little paint can change the look and feel of most things. Look on Pinterest for some fun easy DIY fall decor & get your team involved. As Winnie the Pooh said, "It's the first day of autumn! A time of hot chocolatey mornings, and toasty marshmallow evenings, and, best of all, leaping into leaves!" Now, it is not Autumn yet but get ready folks. It’s going to be here before you know it!
